Scarecrow contest/or just scarecrows

How about a scarecrow contest or display. A business, organization, clubs, school groups or clubs, churches can display a scarecrow representative of their business or group. Each scarecrow would be assigned a number and voted by the public online. Place them downtown or where there is good visibility for people to see.

I love that idea. I think they did that 25 years ago or so for Settler’s Days. There were a good amount of participants.

HI Judy, I think you participated in this type of project in another town. Any guidelines you think should be considered? I do not recall Settlers Day doing this but it sounds fun.
