Locust 3rd Graders Did Their Part to Beautify Marengo
Locust Elementary 3rd graders studied Illinois native plants, then each painted a favorite on a tile. The finished sign is now standing in the municipal parking lot downtown.

MCHS Students Help Bring Beautification Project to Life
A yearlong partnership between MCHS Career & Technical Education students and Beautify Marengo volunteers has added six planter boxes and 20 hanging baskets to downtown Marengo — and put a spotlight on one of the top CTE programs in the county.
