Cigarette butts

I just got done with cleaning our block in downtown. I would say 97% of what I picked up were cigarette butts! Could we get some “enclosed “ cigarette containers-maybe paint them? Some businesses put out cans with sand, but I think the butts might just blow out of them.

I believe they could be made by some of our talented volunteers but would need to learn more about what goes in the tubes so we don’t start fires

I have shown this to a few people who have brought up that it kind of advertises smoking cigarettes and I have to agree. There has to be more pleasing solution to this issue. Everyone...keep thinking.
