Settlers' Days Cleanup, Saturday night

Settlers’ Days closes Main Street for Saturday night, and the road has to be open again by 11 PM. That last hour is ours. Volunteers meet at the beer tent at 10, grab gloves and a bag, and sweep the street and the lot so the crew can reopen it on time.

Sign up here and pick a long sleeve or a t-shirt in your size. It is set aside for you and handed out when you check in, while supplies last. The same signup covers the Monday morning parade-route walk; tick one or both.

When: Saturday, October 10 at 10:00 PM. Plan on about an hour.

Where: The beer tent on Main Street. Gloves, safety vests, pickers, and bags are handed out there. Full bags go in the dumpster in the lot behind Marengo Tattoo.

Bring: closed-toe shoes, a flashlight or headlamp, and a layer for an October night.
